BLACKWATER DIVE
Unlike a night dive cruising along the reef with a torch, blackwater focuses on finding unique creatures in the water column attracted from the deep by high-powered light sources that simulate the moon.
We drop these light sources on a downline over deep water and wait for creatures to be attracted to the lights.

On this exclusive 3‑tank dive, you’ll have the chance to learn how to use a Hawaiian sling spear to hunt lionfish, abundant in the northern reefs of the island. All fish caught will be freshly prepared by our captain into a delicious ceviche lunch served on board.
The adventure continues as you explore the legendary Caves of the Sleeping Sharks and uncover a range of secret dive sites carefully selected to make this a truly unforgettable experience.

The Aldora adventures are an advanced day of diving for experienced, Nitrox-certified divers only. We require a minimum of 4 divers, and that you have been diving with us for a couple of days before booking on this trip. The boat departs at 7:30 am from our downtown dock.
