CONDITIONS: July is summer in Cozumel, weather is typically warm and humid, seas are usually calm. Generally, sites are somewhat open in the channel, and critters are active during this time of year. It is always best to carry travel insurance, wherever you travel. For most people a 3mm wetsuit is sufficient.

​

CURRENCY: Mexican Pesos can be exchanged for clean, undamaged American bills (USD) for good rates at the banks, CI and Electra have the best rates.

​

VISA: Currently, no visa is required for a stay not exceeding 120 days. Travelers must hold valid ticket for return journey to country of origin or next country of destination and a passport valid for a period of at least six (6) months beyond their stay.

​

INSURANCE: Diving insurance is required, and Travel Insurance highly recommended.

​

Please note that Divers Alert Network (DAN) or equivalent evacuation insurance is mandatory on all trips. Additionally, comprehensive Cancellation, Accident, Medical and Baggage insurance such as Dive Assure or World Nomads is highly recommended.

​

DIVE EXPERIENCE: Advanced Open Water Cert Required with a MINIMUM OF 60 LOGGED DIVES.
