Dear Fellow Aldorians,
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought the island of Cozumel, as it has most of the world, to a halt. Consequently, Aldora dive operations have been shut down indefinitely. The hardworking staff at Aldora, who rely on hourly wages and tips, are suffering financially from this trauma. Their daily income all but disappeared overnight.
Now is our chance to give back to those who have given us so much joy over the years.
1.) We give our divers extraordinarily long dives (average 70mins) at the best dive sites in Cozumel.
2.) We provide a personalized service, keeping our group sizes small and tailored to the divers' experience and interests level.
3.) We have multiple boats and support staff to always take care of our divers' needs.
4.) We provide special programs to make sure that our clients always experience the very best of Cozumel. We regularly visit the very best sites in the National Park, but we also offer Aldora's Special Operations trips. Diving the east side when weather permits, diving the newly identified beautiful dive sites on the north of the island, and most uniquely exploring "The Caves of the Sleeping Sharks". This provides safe and unique diving experiences that NO other operation offers.
5.) We dive the East Side when the port is closed during Nortes Season.
6.) We also offer accommodations at the Villa Aldora, which is a quiet beachfront property that is exclusively available to those diving with Aldora divers… frequently referred to as the "Cozumel's best kept secret".
7.) We have a conveniently located and professionally staffed office located downtown as well as the Aldora Pier, three blocks south from the central square and Ferry Pier, to make every aspect of your trip comfortable. If you are staying near downtown, we can pick you up right there at the Aldora Pier, staying up north, we can pick you up at the Villa Aldora and of course, we can pick up our divers staying south of Cozumel at their hotel docks.
8.) We are a 5 stars PADI Instructor Development Center, All Aldora dive guides are PADI Instructors and are highly knowledgeable on the reefs and the marine life here in the Caribbean. This opens a great number of training possibilities that are not possible with other operations. You can learn to dive and receive top-notch specialty dive or professional training, one on one, while enjoying your wonderful world-class dives with Aldora.
